Soft Internet Theory, Art Gallery of Guelph (2025)

Wisp is an exploration of instant messaging and its ability to transmute the emotionality of our communications. Two CRT monitors sit a distance away from each other, perched on their respective plinths. Geographically pinpointed wind data inform the speed of the message, impacting the time in which the message reaches from one monitor to the other. This deprecated program affords us the ability to give our words the gift of spontaneity, leaving the dispatch and arrival of messages at the mercy of a ubiquitous natural force.

(iDraw 2.0 A3, Processing, Micron Pens)
Swash & Serif 7, Northern Contemporary (2023)

Randomly generated fragments of notable Bengali poems are translated to English and overlaid with a juxtaposing generative asemic language. This fabricated language takes cues from modern written Bengali, and is cut off randomly amidst the printing process. Leaving the completion of the asemic lettering at the behest of the pen plotter path, this creates unique prints almost impossible to be repeated perfectly.

The angels must have their share too.

Future Relics (2019)
(Cinema4D, Redshift)
Future Relics is an exploration of the demise of a civilization in an dystopian future. Archival data from the not yet lost, space faring colonies of humanity has been made it's way into our hands. Through data logs we are attempting to piece together what happened and what went wrong so our humanity can avoid the same fate.
